Klaus Meier-Warneboldt, Maquette for "Feather Room"

Created as a maquette, the work is a square three-dimensional construction with four 22 in sticks at the outer edges. Inside the poles and along each side are suspended six lines of feathers hanging by monofilament. The bird feathers are small (primarily 2 inches), mostly grey. A few are yellow or orange. The center of the wood base is a sand square 12 x 12 inches.
