Ivan Locke, Tres Piedras

The central feature of the expressionist painting on canvas board is a grouping of purple and pink rocks with a tall ponderosa pine at the left of center. Tres Piedras is located north west of Taos, NM. The sky is blue and mauve. The foreground is in shades of green. The reverse of the painting is another work of two abstracted figures in greens, pink and brown.
