Ronald Davis, Yellow Torque Hinge III

The subject matter is a flat-planed painting of a torque; a devise set between two parts on a common axis. Each end of the torque is a yellow triangle. They are set on either side of a green polygon. Hard-edged, optical and geometric, this is a quintessential example of Davis’s constructions.
