Ronald Davis, Yellow Rift

Two 3.25” horizontal blue rectangles divide a yellow “rift” or slit. The work is a geometric abstraction. Ronald Davis from the earliest days of his career had a significant impact on contemporary abstract painting of the mid 1960s.
