Like looking into a cloud, the six horizontals of thin blue acrylic paint create a sense of endless depth. The varying thickness of color in the washes makes the blue bands fluid, like there are many different layers creating a sense of movement. Up close you can see that there are five thin bands of white that subtly break up the blue. You can sense the calmness that seems to radiate from the piece, calling for you to get lost in the experience.
